# Competency and competencies

Hi 😊

I started entering some competency requirements and competencies, and I ran into a problem.
Only users with an Onix license can be edited.
However, it should be possible to add and edit users from the Tool Store, as they are the ones who will actually be using the equipment.
That is, after all, the whole point of having competency requirements.
Those of us with an Onix license manage the equipment and the users; we aren’t the ones out there operating forklifts or cranes.
Is this something you could look into? Or perhaps you have some tips on how I might resolve this?

Hi @Geir_Nadland, it’s true that we haven’t supported Onix Tool Store users or contacts in competency functionalities yet. Therefore I’ve moved your suggestion to #Product ideas > New so our Product members can assess and discuss it further.
