# Product location change in Onix Inspect

Company 1 can change the ownership in their Onix Work account.

See step-by-step instructions regarding how to do so in this article [[FAQ] How to change equipment ownership](https://community.onix.com/t/faq-how-to-change-equipment-ownership/2329).

Make sure that company 1 has an active connection with company 2 to be able to transfer equipment to company 2’s Onix Work account. Otherwise, please establish a company connection following [this guide](https://community.onix.com/t/manage-connections-with-member-companies-in-the-companies-module/684#p-1094-create-a-company-connection-6).
