# 1. WHAT IS EQUIPMENT HISTORY AND WHY IT HELPS

## 1.1. About Equipment History

- Introduced in Summer 2 Release 2023, Equipment History is a game-changing feature in Onix Work’s Equipment module.
- It provides a comprehensive view of all changes related to your equipment with detailed record of alterations made to equipment details, maps, job intervals, properties, projects and the Tool Store.

## 1.2. Why it helps

- Equip yourself with the ability to view change history linked to your equipment.
- Effortlessly identify changes, the individuals responsible, and the timing of those changes.
- Enhance your workflow by keeping tabs on additions, edits, and deletions in various sections.

# 2. OPEN AND NAVIGATE THE EQUIPMENT HISTORY

## 2.1. Open Equipment History

- In the Equipment module, open an equipment —\> Scroll down to the _ **Created/Modified** _ section —\> _ **View full equipment history** _.

- In Equipment History panel:
  - Expand or collapse sections for a clear view of changes.
  - View the left column to learn:
    - Who made changes: name, company and actions made.
    - What were changed: Each action type has a specific icon to help you skim quickly, e.g. Create/Add, Edit, Delete, etc.
    - When changes happened: Date and time of actions made by users

  - Click on a change to view its details and learn:
    - _ **Source of change:** _ The Onix app in which the equipment detail was changed.
    - _ **Section:** _ Where the change happened.
    - _ **Field:** _ The specific display field that was changed.
    - _ **From:** _ The original value.
    - _ **To:** _ The new value.

## 2.2. Search, sort, and filter changes

- _ **Search:** _ Type in the search box to find a user, an action, a field or a value —\> Hit **_Enter_.**
- _ **Sort:** _ Choose between _Latest to oldest_ or _Oldest to latest_ orders.
- _ **Filter:** _ Fill in suitable criteria —\> Hit _ **Apply** _.
  - Modified by
  - Source of change
  - Section
  - Fields
  - Modified date
