Most of the time when users are creating new equipment in Onix, and select to do it by copying existing equipment, the new equipment will have a new serial number / batch number, date of manufacture, location, area, and Onix ID. the copy function today does however not contain Location, Area, Onix ID & related tag type. Could we have the copy function expanded upon in order to include these information fields?

*“… I find it very peculiar that when making a copy, the location and area also copy. Many times (if not 100%) the area, location, and ONIX ID are changing when I copy equipment. As such is it possible to copy the equipment and have it prompt to change the location and area as well as input the ONIX tag on the initial screen? It doesn’t have to be mandatory but at least give the option. This would make it much more effective to breeze through the upload and actually use the copy function for its full worth (avoiding going back into the equipment to change location and then add the ONIX tag after). BONUS would be select the photos right away as well…”
