Often the inspector has the mandate to scrap equipment that is assigned Non-conformity during the inspection, especially roundslings. The issue can be shown in the job report, it would be much clearer if the number of scrapped equipment (equipment set to active status scrapped during the inspection) was also shown. The solution as of now is to read through comments in the job report.
Hi @kasper.heigre,
Thank you for the product idea! To better understand the challenge, could you provide more details on the type of inspection performed on roundslings? Is it typically a quick inspection, or does it involve an inspection type with a checklist?
The type of inspection performed on roundslings is ultimately up to the inspection company. They may choose to conduct a quick visual inspection or follow a more detailed process using a checklist, depending on their internal procedures and requirements. Equinor for example are not allowed to use quick inspection for loose lifting gear.
Thank you @kasper.heigre !
I’ll move this to in discussion to see if this is functionality that could be of interest to other inspectors, as it’s not something we have today.
I’ll keep you posted on any updates!
