Can’t you easily add the code to the QR code, i.e. not the square, but the square or five-digit code underneath, where you put in the series, batch and year, etc.?

Hi Stephan,
Thanks for raising this product idea. In order to consider this, it would be helpful to understand better how the customer works. Are they using P&P to do numbering, or are they only using the numbering tab in the order module?
I’m setting this product idea to “In discussion” as we are gathering more information.
Hi Mikael,
They’re not using P & P.
Hi Stephan,
Unfortunately, we can’t allow users to manually enter the Onix-ID digits in the numbering tab. At this scale, allowing users to input 4–5 digits creates too much risk for errors. If a user inputs the wrong digits, a completely different equipment would show if the QR code is scanned at a later time. That’s why in P&P, users are required to scan the QR code with a scanner or camera to correctly link the Onix tag to the equipment.
I’m going to mark this product idea as dropped. I would still encourage considering the use of P&P to link tags to equipment if the customer is not using it today.
