Bulk update for issues

Suggestion: Implement ability to “Edit all” in issues-module, similar to functionality in equipment-module, for bulk update of issue details.

When working with large amount of issues, we see many cases where our solution is the same for several issues. We wish to add a comment in the “Solution” field, and keep the issue progress in “To do” until it is solved. Ability to bulk update the “Solution” field with our comments, without closing the issue as “Solved”, would really help us to work more efficient. In addition, we should be able to bulk update “Due date” some time after issue creation, due to internal risk assessment and planning.

Example:
We need to repair or replace several equipments after inspection findings. We transfer issue(s) to our overlaying maintenance management system, for risk assessment, planning and purchasing. We add a brief comment in Onix, and keep the issue progress in “To do” until it is solved. “Due date” is filled in or updated after risk assessment. If needed, we update information in Onix to keep track on status, until the issue is solved.

Thank you again for sharing your idea.

We are sorry for the earlier expectation that this would be included in the 2026 Summer release. During refinement and implementation planning, we found that this change needs more work to ensure bulk updates for issues are handled safely and consistently.

Because of that, we have not implemented this in the Summer release, but we are planning to include it in the next release.

We will keep this product idea In progress while we continue the work.
