Can you customise what kind of information is shown on the list generate by QR code?
I would like to have example Bach number.
Hi @Jan_Rozmus, unfortunately, your need cannot be solved with the current functionalities in Onix apps. Please let me move the topic to Product ideas > New, so that our Product teams can review the need and possible solutions ![]()
Hi @Jan_Rozmus ,
Thank you for this product idea.
As Phuong mentioned, we currently don’t support customizing which fields are displayed for equipment.
To better understand your need, could you clarify at which level you would want this to be configured? For example, would you want Batch No. to be displayed for all equipment in your company, or should this be configurable at the control category, product, or individual equipment level?
Hi,
We have some equipment that is assigned a TAG number, with a Serial Number (SN) linked to that TAG. If the equipment is damaged and needs to be replaced, we keep the same TAG number and only update the Serial Number with the new equipment.
At the moment, I am using the Batch Number as the TAG and the Serial Number as the SN in Onix.
When the shipping company requires a list and certificates for the equipment being sent offshore, we generate a QR code that provides a list of the equipment. In some cases, it would be easier for them to identify the equipment and match it with the cargo list if the Batch Number could also be displayed.
Would it be possible to add this as an option when generating the QR code?
Thank you for the feedback.
We currently have three fields on the equipment that can be used as identifiers:
- Owners Equipment ID
- Serial number
- Batch Number
Based on which one of these fields has a value, it will show up in the equipment list.
If the Owners equipement ID has a value, that will alsways be the priority. Then Serial number, lastly Batch number.
The easiest solution for you would then be to keep the value you want to show in the field Owners Equipment ID as that will always be prioritized over the others.
