How do I import equipment data into Onix Maker?

  1. Create order at maker.onix.com > Serialized orders module > + New > Fill in order information > Save.
  2. Open the order and go to Serialization tab.
  3. Click Import, then drag and drop or browse to your file.

  • Wait for the data validation to complete. Don’t leave the page or close the app during this process.
  • If the file has errors, download the error details file, fix the issues listed for each row, and re-import.

Once validation succeeds, the equipment becomes available for scanning across Onix. You’ll receive an email from Onix when it’s ready.

Can I update equipment that I’ve already imported?

Yes. Onix Maker identifies serialization items by their Global ID. If a new import file contains a Global ID that already exists, the other field values for that item are overwritten. You can update any field except the Global ID itself.

To update existing items, prepare a new import file and follow the same import steps as above.
