[FAQ] User is not allowed to log in to Onix Work, only Onix Worker

When logging in to Onix Work from a web browser, you get an error message: “You don’t have access to [Company Name] from this app. Please contact your account administrator for more information” .

EXPLAIN

It’s highly probable that you’re currently assigned an Onix Worker user license, which only allows access to the Onix Worker mobile application.

  • Since Autumn Release 2022, Onix Worker user license does not include access to Onix Work’s desktop application anymore.
  • Users being assigned this license cannot access the Onix Work desktop application and will receive the error message upon login: “You don’t have access to [Company Name] from this app. Please contact your account administrator for more information”.

SOLUTION

You should contact your company’s administrator to check and assign you another suitable license if necessary.
In case you need access to Onix Work for viewing equipment data, request the administrator to assign you a Stakeholder license.

  • The Stakeholder license allows read-only access to Onix Work on desktop.
  • However, it doesn’t allow you to make any edit in Onix Work and use Onix Worker mobile application.
