NDT Report form efficiency

We need the flexibility of the NDT Report form to be in line with the rest of the forms available. We find ourselves needing to create dozens of certificates in a short amount of time. We use the form “Report of Thorough Examination” and it’s working well for us with the capabilities of using the form on a job with multiple equipment and the ability to copy it from a previous job and merely change the equipment in the job. We need the NDT Report form to have similar functionality, because as of now it’s too slow to use to complete a job in a timely manner when a lot of equipment is involved. We need these functionalities added to the NDT Report form, or an alternative solution.

I have a couple of follow-up questions to better understand the challenges you’re facing with our NDT form:

  1. Are there cases where the NDT inspection is identical across multiple pieces of equipment, or do you typically encounter minor differences that require separate inspections for each?
  2. When conducting inspections currently, do you use Onix Work or the Onix Inspect app?

  1. Yes, I get cases where there are dozens of NDT inspection reports where the job details and forms are the exact same, the difference is in the equipment being inspected. I tried using the copy job feature on an NDT report but it does not allow me to change the equipment being used. The Form I use for the NDT report is quite long which hinders our progress by a lot.
  2. I mainly use Onix Inspect due to the fact most sites do not have a stable internet connection, but I would still prefer if this was something I can do on both Onix Work and Onix Inspect just like the other report forms I use for flexibility.

Thank you for providing the additional details. We’re currently exploring how to incorporate this added flexibility into the NDT form. I’ll keep you updated as we make progress.
