Notification to equipment owner

We would like to have an option for notifying the equipment owner (contact person named on the individual equipment) when it is time for performing an “Operator control” (i.e. every 3rd month) on an equipment.

Today it is possible to notify the “Location contact”, but in our case there are several “Equipment owners” on the same location.

We answered you via email but would love to also paste it here for other users to benefit from it.

Besides the expired equipment alerts to location and notification contacts in Onix Work > Settings > System setup > Alerts to owner of equipment, users can configure to receive only alerts for expired equipment where they are listed as the contact in equipment details.

Anyone who owns a user account in Onix Account can activate personal alerts, whether they are granted access to Onix Work or not. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to https://prod.onix.com/
  2. Click on the User profile icon.
  3. Select User settings from the dropdown menu.
  4. In the User settings dialog, switch to the Alerts tab.
  5. Select the following personal equipment alerts and choose a preferred interval (how often you want to receive alerts).
  6. Finally, click OK.

:information_source: The list of equipment contacts are synced from Settings (Gear button next to Home) > Users & Roles > Users , accessible to Administrator users.
