When selling equipment, the Orders module has a feature that automatically generates sequential serial numbers. For example, if you enter serial number 1101 and set the quantity to 3, the additional equipment will automatically be assigned serial numbers 1102 and 1103.

Please note that this feature is available in the Orders module, which requires a Supplier license. If you don’t already have a Supplier license, please contact your Customer Success Manager, who can help you get it set up.
If your company sells equipment and regularly assigns serial numbers, we strongly recommend using the Supplier license, as it provides access to features like this that can significantly speed up your workflow.
Since this functionality already exists, I’ll mark this idea as Dropped for now.
