On November 7, 2025, we’re updating Onix applications to ensure compatibility with the newest versions of Windows, Android, and iOS.
Windows and Android users are advised to take the recommended actions below to maintain full compatibility and receive newer app versions.
Key technical updates
To meet the latest requirements from Microsoft and Google, this update includes:
- Upgrade to .NET Runtime 9.0 for all Windows-based applications, namely Onix Tool Store, Onix Inspect, Onix Pick & Pack
- Upgrade to the latest Android SDKs for mobile apps, namely Onix Inspect, Onix Worker, Onix Tool Store
- Upgrade to the latest iOS SDKs for Onix Worker

Recommended actions
Windows
You might see a prompt to install .NET Runtime 9.0 when updating your Onix Windows app from November 7, 2025.
Recommended action: Select “Download it now” to install .NET Runtime 9.0.0 and complete the setup.
This installation is completely safe and necessary for the new version to run properly.

Android
Devices running Android 9 or earlier will no longer display Onix apps in Google Play.
Recommended action: Update your Android OS to a later version to keep using Onix apps and receive new versions.
iOS
No action is needed from iOS users.
