On September 24, 2026, we’re updating Onix applications for Windows to .NET 10. Following this update, .NET 10 will be required to run the latest versions of the affected applications.
Some users may need to take action to continue using Onix applications without interruption.
Included applications:
- Onix Tool Store
- Onix Inspect
- Onix Pick & Pack
What you need to do
Windows users: Install .NET 10
If you use Onix Tool Store, Onix Inspect, or Onix Pick & Pack on Windows, you may see the following message when you install or start the new version:
“You must install or update .NET to run this application.”
Required action: Select Download it now in the message to download and install the required .NET 10 runtime. You can also install .NET 10 manually from Microsoft’s official .NET download page.
If .NET 10 is already installed on your computer, you do not need to take any action.
Companies using managed installation systems
If your company installs Onix applications through a managed installation system, your IT administrator must make sure that the required .NET 10 runtime is installed on Windows devices. We will contact your IT administrators and provide the MSIX installation file before September 24, 2026.
