Issue description
When a filed job uses a form that generates a PDF Checklist, text entered in certain fields may appear cut off in the exported document if the value is too long. Common affected fields are:
- Type
- Model
- Owner’s Equip. ID
Workaround solution
Option 1 - Keep field values short
Input shorter text in the affected fields (Type, Model, Owner’s Equip. ID) to avoid text being cut off in the PDF Checklist.
Option 2 - Refer to the main document
For instance, when filing a job using “Inspection report” form, two types of document will be generated, i.e. Checklist and Control documentation.
In that case, refer to the control documentation because the full text is usually displayed correctly in that document layout.
Our Product Group is aware of this technical limitation and might consider enhancing the PDF Checklist to support longer field values in a future release. We will share any progress once available.
