Manage equipment using equipment transactions

Equipment transasctions give you control over equipment quantities and locations. You can view and adjust the equipment quantity, check its movement history, and transfer it between locations. Updates are saved as equipment transactions with system or custom reasons, ensuring data is clear and consistent.

Create equipment transaction reasons

Create custom reasons for equipment transactions and translate them to multiple languages.

1. In Onix Work, go to Settings > Equipment transactions
2. Select New
3. Fill in the details and translations for the new reason > Save

Afterwards, you can:

• Edit: Select the reason > Edit > Enter the new values > Save.
• Inactivate: Select the reason > Edit > Change the active status to “Inactive”.
• Delete: Select the reason > Delete. You can only delete a reason if it’s never been used.

Transfer unique equipment

You can move an equipment by creating a transfer transaction, as an alternative to editing its location and area.

1. In Onix Work, go to Equipment.
2. Select the equipment.
3. In the Equipment transactions section, select New transaction.
   
   
4. Select “Transfer” as the transaction type.
5. Select a transaction reason and enter comments if needed.
6. Select the destination location and area > Save.
   
   

Update quantities and transfer stock or consumable goods

Update quantity

Update the inventory quantity of stock and consumable goods by creating equipment transactions.

1. In Onix Work, go to Equipment.
2. Select the stock or consumable goods.
3. In the Equipment transactions section, select New transaction
   
   
4. Select “Addition” or “Reduction” as the transaction type.
5. Select a transaction reason and enter comments if needed.
6. Enter the adjustment quantity > Save.
   
   

Transfer stock and consumable goods

You can move a chosen quantity of stock or consumable goods by creating a transfer transaction.

1. In Onix Work, go to Equipment
2. Select the equipment
3. In the Equipment transactions section, select New transaction
   
   
4. Select “Transfer” as the transaction type
5. Enter the transfer quantity
6. Select the destination location and area > Save
   
   

After a transfer transaction, the quantities update at both source and destination. If the destination does not yet have the item, a new stock or consumable goods is created there with the entered quantity.

View all equipment transactions

The equipment transactions show a complete record of all quantity and location changes to an equipment, stock or consumable goods, from its registration to all updates up to the present.

3. In the Equipment transactions section, select Show all transactions
