Manage inspection assignments

Inspection managers need functionality to plan and assign customers and locations to named inspectors. He needs to see planed, ongoing and performed work by location and person(s). The assigned inspector should get an alert and an easy way to download the correct company, location in Onix Inspect. Manager should see and be alerted when inspection assignment is finished.

Hi @bernt.havardsholm
I am happy to share that we are currently working on “Inspection projects” which will allow users to plan and create inspection projects which will include information about customer, equipment, date period, equipment list, inspectors etc which will then be available for the inspector to complete. This will help you to plan and excecute inspections more efficiently and with a better overview.

This is a planned feature for the summer release.

I will therefore set this product idea to “In progress”.

Hi @bernt.havardsholm,

Thank you again for your suggestion.

After the latest 2026 Summer release, your idea has been implemented through the new Inspection projects functionality and is now ready for use.

This allows users to plan inspection work with information such as customer, equipment, date period, equipment list, and assigned inspectors, helping inspection managers get a better overview and execute inspections more efficiently.

Please give it a try, and feel free to let us know if you have any feedback.

Once again, thank you for sharing your idea with us!
