Multiple new equipment -> Properties should be on the main page

Hi,
in the last release we get the opportunity to add multiple Serial numbers and create multiple equipments in one go.
But the Properties needs to be selected afterwards one by one.
So it would safe a lot of time to edit the properties before saving, that every equipments gets the same properties.

Thank you for sharing your product idea. Your needs are clear and well understood.

I also noticed that in Onix Inspect, you currently can’t add more properties to equipment after it’s created. The only way to do this is by selecting the product when creating the equipment.

Please note that your idea is being considered for a future release. We’ll notify you once this work is prioritized.

Thanks for the suggestion. I understand the use case - when creating multiple equipment at once, it would save time if you could set the common properties before creating them, so that the same properties are applied to all the new equipment.

There is a workaround you can use today:

  1. Create one equipment in Onix Inspect.
  2. Add the properties that should be common for all the equipment.
  3. Use Create copy to create the additional equipment.
  4. Add the relevant serial/batch numbers to the copies.

The copied equipment will inherit the properties from the original equipment, so you don’t need to add them individually afterwards.

Please let me know if this works for you. We’ll keep your suggestion in mind as an improvement to the new multiple-equipment creation flow.
