G2 Ocean have created a number of custom views which are the basis for a lot of Dashboards that helps them keep track of equipment and issues.
G2 would like to share these views with 3rd party companies, ie inspectors, at several locations. All these views have to be setup in manually in each account. If these could be easily shared between connected companies it would save a lot of time. This could either be done through the companies module or as an export/import function similar to import of equipment.
”The view uses some custom properties, but Certex do not have those properties set up in their account, so I needed to create all of those properties manually (this is despite these custom properties appearing in the data views of the equipment).”
This might be difficult to achieve as custom properties are specific to the company that have created them. There is no automatic was of transfering this from one account to another.
But the idea about sharing views is interesting, so we’ll discuss it internally and decide if this is something that should be implemented in the future.
