A. All applications

B. Forms
B1. New Modern Report of Thorough Examination form
The (New) Report of Thorough Examination job form is available for variant design in Onix Work – Settings and for use in both Onix Work and Onix Inspect. You can:
- Design variants with customizable form properties in Onix Work – Settings.
- Create jobs on multiple equipment at once, saving time and effort. Upon filing, each equipment is linked to a separate job and a new document specific to that equipment.
- Get the latest document layout to enhance data transparency.
Note: The current Report of Thorough Examination form will remain available for use.
B2. NDT Report - Supports 1-column grid layout
The NDT report now supports a 1-column grid layout, alongside table and 2-column layouts. This gives you more flexibility in designing report variants.
C. Onix Work
C1. Discover Onix Partners in the Companies module and partner map
Onix Partners are trusted companies who provide innovative solutions for managing lifting and other work equipment through the Onix platform. Easily identify them in the Companies module as Onix Partners now appear at the top of the list, with clear details on their core services and control categories.
To find nearby Onix Partners, use the partner map: https://public.onix.com/partner (available from 28.02.2025).
C2. Perform preventive maintenance for multiple equipment at once
You can now add multiple pieces of equipment to a single preventive maintenance job. When filing, each equipment is linked to a separate job. If your company uses the Service report form, each equipment is also linked to a new document specific to that equipment. This feature streamlines large-scale maintenance, making it faster and more efficient.
C3. Orders - Redesigned numbering page with advanced features
The Numbering page in the Orders module has been redesigned for easier data entry and validation.
- Enter numbering values faster: You can auto-fill and preview the numbering values of multiple equipment at once. Alternatively, you can copy numbering values from an external source and paste them into the table directly.
- Validate global IDs: If the picking is completed via Onix Pick and Pack beforehand, the global IDs now become visible in Onix Work for your review.
- Navigate faster: Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move up and down across the numbering table.
C4. Orders – Exclude order lines from auto-processing with new settings in products and customers
Gain greater control and accuracy in order fulfillment by excluding specific order lines from auto-processing. You can review them before delivery and manually process them in Onix Work when ready. To streamline this, set up your preferred processing method for each product and customer so that order lines receive the correct default processing method.
C5. Add documents from the shared document library to equipment
You can now add documents from your company’s shared document library to equipment. To see which equipment are linked to a document, check the new Linked equipment column in Settings - Shared document library. These enhancements give you better control over document usage and help keep your library organized.
C6. Documents - Search by a document’s file name
In the Documents module, quickly find the right document by searching for its file name in the new Description filter. By default, the search looks for file names that start with your keyword, but you can adjust it to “Equals” or “Contains” for more precise results.
C7. Issues - “?” issue grade removed
The “?” issue grade has been removed to improve accuracy in equipment usability assessments. Depending on the company settings, you can only select one of these grades when registering issues: C, MO, RC, or NC. Existing “?” issues created before 28.02.2025 remain unchanged.
C8. Settings - Search and change selected control categories more quickly
In Settings – Control categories, use the Search box to find relevant categories faster. In addition, the new Select all and Clear all buttons let you quickly update your company’s selections.
C9. Settings – Set next due date to job date when the job status is NC
A new setting is now available in Settings - System Setup, named If the job status is NC, the next due date will be set as the job date. When enabled, jobs with an “NC” status will have their next due date set to the job date instead of a future date. This helps maintain accurate control documentation and ensures safety compliance.
C10. Equipment - New filter criterion: Job interval
In the Equipment module, a new Job interval filter lets you find equipment based on job duration and description. Used alongside the Due date filter, it helps you manage inspection schedules more effectively. This ensures timely maintenance and better equipment oversight.
C11. Equipment - New display field and filter criterion: Comment (Tool Store)
The Equipment module now includes a new display field and filter criterion: Comment (Tool Store). Add it to your equipment views to track comments created during equipment checkout and quickly locate specific items. This enhancement gives you better visibility into past checkouts and improves overall equipment management.
C12. Equipment - Edit job interval descriptions and durations
In the Equipment module, you can now change the description and duration of an existing job interval. Previously, only the Done date and Due date fields were editable. This enhancement allows you to modify job intervals for one or multiple equipment at once, improving flexibility in inspection management.
C13. Settings – Assign a default job form to a control regime
In Settings – Control categories, you can now set a default job form and its variant for each control regime. Choose from Inspection Report, Report of Thorough Examination, or (New) Report of Thorough Examination. New jobs created under that regime will automatically use the selected form, ensuring inspectors have the correct document ready and saving time on each inspection.
C14. Orders - Export documents for selected order lines
You can now export documents for selected order lines instead of the entire order. Simply choose the desired order lines and click Show; the relevant documents will be ready to view and download within seconds.
C15. Settings - Power BI configuration
The Power BI configuration in Settings - External data sources will be removed on 28.02.2025. This is part of our plan to discontinue Power BI integration in Onix Work. The full retirement is expected in summer 2025 (estimated June), after which the integration will be permanently shut down.
To continue extracting and monitoring your data, we recommend using Custom Reports in Onix Work - Settings.
