Missing form on lifting table, Form 9

Missing form on lifting table, Form 9

We have no plans to introduce Form 9 again. There are several reasons for this. When everything was done on paper, we had a number of different pre-printed forms for different equipment. Design and properties were adapted to different categories of equipment. This is not necessary now. The forms in Onix are dynamic. They adapt automatically to different equipment, properties and checklists.

As I understand it, it is also the case that regulations now focus on content and design. Examples of this approach are found in the latest update of the Norwegian “Normer for kontrollomfang” and in the Machine Directive where they specify contents and not layout of the Declaration of Conformity.

Onix would like to move in the direction of having common forms. For example a “Test Certificate” that is better designed for screens than paper. The documentation should be easy to read on mobiles, tablets and PC’s. We think this will a be better approach. But we’re really interested in a dialog with users on this topic.
