Onix Work can notify you through in-app, browser push, and email notifications.
Notification types
| Notification type | Description |
|---|---|
| Toast notification | Appears in Onix Work and increases the counter on the Activity bell icon. |
| Push notification | Appears on your computer through your browser. |
| Email notification | Is sent to the email address registered to your user account. For more information, see Understand Onix email notifications. |
Allow push notifications
To receive push notifications, allow Onix Work to send notifications when your browser prompts you.
Adjust permissions for push notifications in your browser
If you’ve previously blocked push notifications from Onix Work, you can adjust the notification permission in the site settings.
In Google Chrome:
- Open Onix Work in Chrome.
- Select the View site information icon to the left of the address bar.
- Select Site settings.
- In the new tab, find Notifications under the permission list and select Allow.

- Open Onix Work in Microsoft Edge.
- Select the View site information icon to the left of the address bar.
- Select Site settings.
- In the new tab, find Notifications under the permission list and select Allow.

View notifications in Activity
The Activity feed contains notifications from the past 30 days.
You can:
- Filter for relevant notifications
- Mark all notifications as read: Select More > Mark all as read
- Remove all notifications: Select More > Remove all
- Mark a notification as read or unread: Hover over the notification, select More > Mark as unread or Mark as read.
- Remove one notification: Hover over the notification, select More > Remove.
