On March 27, 2026, we’re enhancing the availability, layout and fill-in of several forms, as well as form handlings in orders. The enhancements focus on regulatory alignment and more flexible data entry for inspectors when completing job forms.
SOLAS Form 2, SOLAS Form 3 (M) and SOLAS Form 4
Three SOLAS forms become available for orders and products
SOLAS Form 2, SOLAS Form 3 (M), and SOLAS Form 4 can now be added to both orders and products in Onix Work. Similar to other forms, SOLAS form properties can be configured at the product level, and their values are automatically applied to orders when available. Upon order delivery, each filed job of SOLAS Form 2 and SOLAS Form 4 contains one equipment, while each filed job of SOLAS Form 3 (M) contains all equipment from the processed transaction.
“Project” field and pictures removed from SOLAS forms
In jobs of SOLAS Form 2, SOLAS Form 3 (M) and SOLAS Form 4, the Project field is removed. In their form properties, the functionality of adding picture is also removed. These removals ensure the form complies with the industry regulations.
“Date of completion” field supports free text input
In Onix predefined form variants, the Date of completion field now supports both date selection and free text input.
This enhancement applies to three forms: SOLAS Form 2, SOLAS Form 3 (M) and SOLAS Form 4.
“Certified according to standard” field adds equipment’s “Produced according to” value as a choice
In Onix predefined form variants, the Certified according to field now lets you select a choice in addition to free text input. This choice uses the equipment’s Produced according to value automatically. While completing jobs, inspectors can select this choice for the field or enter another value.
This enhancement applies to SOLAS Form 2 and SOLAS Form 3 (M).
EKH Crane Report
EKH Crane Report redesigned for compliance reasons
EKH Crane Report is redesigned to strictly comply with EKH requirements. The form is renamed EKH Crane Report BDH and its predefined variant is renamed Keuringsrapport BDH.
In addition to the layout redesign, new system properties are added to Onix platform and used in the EKH Crane Report BDH:
- Lifting height
- Basic data
- Number of falls
- Lifting speed
- Transmission
The updated form layout reflects the new structure and added system properties, ensuring required data is captured according to EKH standards.
General enhancements
Onix Work - Add and edit multiple forms in an order line at once
In an order line, you can select multiple forms to add in one action. The order line also includes a new Edit all button, which opens a panel for editing all forms within that line. This reduces repetitive actions when updating document information across multiple forms.
Form properties designer: “Date” fields support free text input alongside date selection
In form properties with “Date” type now get a new toggle: “Allow free text input”. If enabled, inspectors can fill the form property either by selecting a date or entering free text.
This enhancement is available for two forms that have form properties designer: NDT report and (New) Report of Thorough Examination.
