Access to Onix Express

Use Onix Express to get the equipment documentation from your suppliers and inspectors. The new Onix Express launched in Autumn 2023 release also makes sure you are promptly notified on new orders and inspections.

1. What is Onix Express?

  • Equipment suppliers and inspectors use Onix Express to distribute equipment documentation to customers who are not members of Onix Work.
  • Onix Express users can only access their documents with read-only permission.
  • Onix Express does not offer full features as Onix Work. Features for equipment management or inspections are only available in Onix Work.

2. Become Onix Express user of a company

Access to an organization’s Onix Express is managed by its administrators.
There are 2 ways for you to become an Onix Express user of an organization:

a. Your supplier or inspector company invites you using your email address.

  • In this case, you will get an invitation email to their Onix Express → Follow the email’s instructions to access Onix Express.

b. If you already have a user account in Onix system, you request the supplier or inspector company for an Onix Express user account with your email address. Here’s how:

  • Go to the website of that supplier or inspector company → Find and click on this logon button: image
  • You will be directed to the sign-in page of their Onix Express → Enter your email and password.
  • You will get into their Onix Express and see the error message below → Click on Request a user to ask for access. You will gain Onix Express access after your request is approved by the administrators.

3. Log in to an Onix Express

You can only get into an Onix Express of a supplier or inspector company using the access link provided by that organization itself. Each organization (your supplier or inspector) has its own Onix Express access link, which is usually published on the supplier’s website. The link’s format is https://express.onix.com/[abc], in which [abc] is unique to each organization. How to find the link:
* Request your supplier or inspector company to send it to you directly, OR
* Go to their website → Find and click on this logon button to be directed to Onix Express.

For example, to get the documents from Uplift AS via Onix Express, you must:

  • Go to their website: www.upliftas.com

  • Find and click on the logon button which leads to their Onix Express at https://express.onix.com/uplift-express-101. The button may look like this:

  • Log in with your information.

    • If you have never got an account in Onix system: Enter your email address → Follow the given instructions to set up a new account → Go back to sign-in page and log in with your information.

4. Get documents in Onix Express

In every Onix Express, you can find information of the supplier or inspector company and their managing contact (if any).

4.1. Search documents

In the Documents tab, fill in these search criteria to find document and their equipment information:

  • Equipment ID
  • Onix ID
  • Type/model
  • Customer order no.
  • Order no.
  • Created date

Click on each item to preview, or download or print it.

4.2. Invite colleagues

Click on this button to invite your colleagues as users of the current supplier or inspector’s Onix Express. Your company can have up to 25 Onix Express users.

4.3. Change alerts settings

From Autumn Release 2023, by default, you are notified weekly about (1) the orders received from the supplier and (2) the inspections completed on your company’s equipment.
To change these alert settings:

  • Click on the Alerts button on the left-side panel → Turn the toggles ON or OFF, or
  • Unsubscribe / subscribe to these alerts directly in the notification emails.

5. Switch between Onix Express portals of one supplier

One supplier or inspector company can let you access multiple Onix Express portals. Therefore, you can switch between those portals directly in the current Onix Express:

  • Click on your company’s name on the header.
  • Select the other Onix Express from the option list.

However, you cannot directly switch to a different organization’s Onix Express. Each organization has its unique Onix Express access link (URL), and you must use that URL to enter another organization’s Onix Express.
