[FAQ] Customers want access to your Onix Express

Read For member company section if:

  • You’re an Onix Work user of a member company.
  • Onix Express license is included in your company’s subscription.
  • You want to provide your customer access to view certificates of their equipment but they are not using Onix Work.

Read For non-member company section if:

  • You’re NOT an Onix Work user of a member company.
  • You need access to your equipment documentations through your supplier’s or inspector’s portal.

For member company

As an Onix Work user of a member company, invite your customer’s employees as Express users and provide them with the Onix Express access link.

Create a non-member company on Onix Work

This serves as a folder for members to better arrange and distribute documents per customer without mixing documents of different companies together.

  1. Go to Onix Work > Companies module.
  2. Click + New.
  3. Fill out required information.
  4. Click Save.

Invite employees of the non-member company to Onix Express

Now, let’s add users to the company you have just created.

  1. Go to Onix Work > Companies module.
  2. Select the non-member company.
  3. Go to Contacts.
  4. Click + New.
  5. Fill out the user information.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Click Invite as user.

Provide Onix Express access link (URL) to customer

Get it via Onix Work > Settings > Onix Express > Onix Express access link (URL).

For non-member company

As an equipment owner who’s looking for documentations, you must access via a logon button on your supplier’s or inspector’s website. If you can’t find the logon button, request the supplier or inspector for the Onix Express access link.

Log in to Onix Express

  1. Sign out of any Onix account.
  2. Enter the access link URL on the browser’s address bar. Or go to the member company’s website and click the logon button (See something similar below).
  3. On login page, enter email address and password to log in.

Look for certificates

Documents won’t appear immediately by default when you’re in. You must apply filter (e.g. ID, Type/Model, Created date) then click Apply.
